The SM-300A is a production-grade hydraulic automatic double-side blade grinding machine designed for high-volume processing of knives, cleavers, kitchen blades, scissors and surgical cutting tools. Unlike a single-head grinder that processes one face at a time, this machine grinds both sides of the blade simultaneously — one pass produces a complete symmetric bevel, halving cycle time and eliminating the alignment error introduced by manually flipping the workpiece.
The hydraulic transmission system delivers smooth, consistent grinding pressure across the full 380 mm table stroke. Three independent motors — two 7.5 kW grinding-wheel drives and one 1.5 kW hydraulic power unit — give the machine a total installed power of 16.5 kW and ensure stable stock removal regardless of blade hardness. The separate hydraulic station provides precise clamping force and table-feed control without mechanical backlash.
